Durham genes

Well, if you know me and my family-we are ketchup lovers. Not just any ketchup, but Heinz Ketchup.
Oh yeah, ketchup snobs.
And here is my son-enjoying his first ketchup experience, the first of many I'm sure.
:D

I hate catsup. I can't even spell it. I'm a mustard fan. Oh, and bar-b-que sauce as well. In fact, here's a little secret recipie for the best teriyaki marinade you will ever taste (I'm serious, trust an old man):

3/4 cup soy sauce
3/4 cup brown sugar
1 t ginger
1 clove minced garlic
1 T marin (optional, but makes a difference to me)

Stir it up and soak meat for the day. HOWEVER, turn the meat every couple of hours or the sugar will sort of 'glaze' on one side.

Lastly, I agree with your aspects of worship in that post.

Ciao!

ok, I love Heinz ketchup too- pretty much any condiment really (with the total exception of mayo- yuck!) anyway... do you keep the ketchup in the fridge or the cabinet? b/c I keep mine in the fridge and Bryan's family thinks that is the weirdest thing... his mom even put the ketchup in the mircrowave to get it back to room temperature after I accidentally stuck it in the fridge at their house once. I was just wondering what the most popular vote for ketchup storage is.

I love katsup too, and I keep it in the fridge too. My mom tought me to put it on scrabbled eggs, meat loaf, french fries, and even french toast from time to time. After my pregnancy with Evelyn I now use a bit of BBQ sauce for my scrabbled eggs. So whatever gene that is ... it's also in the Bruce line too.
