Wow, it's been almost a month since I posted on here. Sorry for my readers...whoops.
Well, a lot can happen in a months time.
Luke (here he is with his hair all gelled for church)
can sit up-but he prefers for you to help him stand, he can roll all over the place and is quite the hazard; he's definitely talking more, I think soon we'll be getting words out of him. He has a tooth! Okay, so you can't really see it unless you've got a magnifying glass but its there! You can feel it with your finger, and I think another one is going to pop in right next to it.
And other big news, we gave Samson away and while that was sad, :( it was the best thing for him. We just didn't have the time to give to him that he needed, we'll miss him, we already do, but we had to make a grownup decision...
isn't he just so pretty?! Goodbye Sam. *sniff*
We are driving to Waukesha, Wisconsin tomorrow to see Rick and Jonell Barth, as well as Matt and Emily Musser (who is very pregnant-due very soon with little boy Musser). We are so excited! We're trying to plan driving time with Luke's nap time, I hope it all works out okay, I'm sure it will...
Aaron was able to teach the past two Sunday nights at church.
His first Sermon, on January 28th, was Our Position in Christ: Citizens of Heaven; his passage was from Phil. 3:20-4:1 It is great to have emphasized to you that this is a reality to believers and needs to be our focus. As well as the fact that when you understand that this is something you presently own, you can have such confidence in your eternal security. And that this should impact your conduct also.
His second Sermon, on February 4th, was our Eternal Hope and Earthly Responsibility; his starting place there was 2 Cor. 5:1-10, but he touched on several other passages as well. A few of the things I wrote down from his sermon were: We have an eternal hope of receiving new bodies without sin.", "We can be confident of this because we have the Holy Spirit as a pledge, deposit, guarantee, or assurance.", ""We make it our goal" or "We have as our ambition" to please God wherever we are, here or in heaven." wow.
And I would be remiss if I neglected to mention the fact that yes, the Saints lost to the Bears, and then the Bears lost to Peyton (not the Colts-Peyton). The Saints had never been to the Championship game before, so that was exciting. And really, we were rooting for the Bears, but we weren't that broken up about their loss. You should check out Aaron's Blog, he did a note about how both the Super Bowl coaches are Christians and what they had to say about that. It was pretty awesome.
Alright, going now. BYE.

Hi Brittany! Sorry I missed your phone call on Saturday. I just sent you an e-mail about getting together via AT&T, in case you check your web site more often/sooner than you check e-mail.

Awww... sorry to hear that you had to give Samson away. Big decision. But it's good to hear that you & your family are all doing well. Luke is getting big fast!
Hey Brit...who did you give Samson to? I sure hope they are nice people.
