Brothers

I love these boys! Luke is such a good big brother...

Mommy does this with Joel usually(it helps his tummy), but today-Luke wanted to do it.

Another video

Joel loves patty-cake-see how excited he gets!

while you were sleeping, part 2

This time we find Joel sleeping....

...and Luke dancing! Here he is shown dancing to the "verses"-GT and the Halo Express (one of my childhood favorites!). Check out that new special move

while you were sleeping

while Daddy and Joel were napping in the glider....

Mommy and Luke were building towers and knocking them down!

Sorry about this video...you will have to turn your head (or your screen) sideways to watch it, but its so good.

The weather was nice so....

Joel's first visitors at home-Mr. Al and Mrs. Patty:

okay, so they didn't really come to visit Joel, that was just a bonus. They were going to the zoo and invited Luke to come along!

He was very ready when they came to pick him up!

Looks like he had LOTS of fun!

He saw a dolphin show and even got to pet a chick! He also tells a story about his cheeseburger having a "yucky" pickle on it. haha.
THANKS Arnolds!

Dance moves

Joel's First Bath

aka...still catching up....
Joel really seemed to enjoy his bath! (unlike Luke, who screamed like I was killing him the entire time) He liked the warm room, and warm water-but not getting his face and hair washed. Still, a success! And now you can get a look at this little boy. He's got a few rolls-haha!

look at those muscles!
poor kid...

The Floor Gym

Everybody in this house loves the Floor Gym.

Brittany loves the floor gym
Luke loves the floor gym

Aaron and Luke love the floor gym

Joel loves it too! Sometimes by himself....

And sometimes with is brother:

New Loves

Luke loves Thomas the Train. This is somewhat new, we were all about Disney's Cars for a very, very long time. And now, while we still like Cars alot, we are BIG on Thomas.

(that is Emily, sometimes he calls her "Aunt Emily")

By they way-this is one of the greatest things EVER! Go get one. Lowe's-seriously. I am in love with ours. Such a space saver with the toys. And it makes taking toys out to play with, and then putting back away so very easy. Big fan. Call this an official endorsement.

Speaking of space, I bet you were wondering how we fit another person in this house weren't you? We have Joel's "room" in the walk-in closet in our bedroom (see here) and his changing table in our room; then pretty much everything else is in the living room.
Why YES! We did have to rearrange-you know me so well. (thanks mom for the help) Here is what our downstairs looks like now:

(aerial shot)

This is my favorite way it has ever been arranged(it will be less cluttered after the baby stuff works its way out), I may keep it this way.

Can't say thank you enough.

Our moms were able to come and stay with us for two weeks each!! Thank you both so much. We know just how special we are to have great moms like you.

Some pictures from Stacy/Mom's visit:

We got a TON of snow while she was here, look at her shoveling!
